Connect Nykaa
1Get your API credentials
Nykaa's seller portal runs on Vinculum Vin eRetail, and its API is authenticated with an API username and password plus your seller/location code. picoask only reads orders, returns and inventory.
- In your Nykaa seller panel, open API integration settings — or ask the Nykaa / Vinculum seller team — for your API Username (ApiOwner) and API Password (ApiKey).
- Note your Seller / location code (the warehouse/location the orders belong to).
- If Nykaa gave your account a dedicated API host, have that URL handy; otherwise the default works.
2Connect in picoask
In your project's Integrations tab, choose Nykaa → Connect and fill in:
- Seller / location code — from step 1. It scopes your data in the warehouse.
- API Username and API Password — from step 1.
- API base URL — leave as the default unless you were given a dedicated host.
picoask runs one read against Nykaa the moment the connector starts provisioning, so a wrong credential or host is reported immediately. The API password is stored encrypted and used only by the sync worker.
3What gets synced
- Orders & lines — each order with its items: SKU, quantity, price, tax and status.
- Returns — customer returns and RTO, dated by the return.
Amounts land in ₹. Commission, settlement and marketplace fees are not in Nykaa's order API — those come from Nykaa's settlement reports — so take-home-after-fees isn't synced here; product-level orders, discounts and returns are. This connector needs a marketplace (consumer-order) account; a beauty/inventory account that only receives purchase orders has no consumer orders to pull.
4Troubleshooting
- Credentials rejected — the API username/password or the base URL is wrong. Recheck them (and whether your account is on a dedicated Vin host) with the Nykaa / Vinculum team and reconnect.
- No orders — confirm your account receives consumer orders (marketplace model), not just purchase orders, and that historical date-range fetch is enabled for your account.
